Eat the Rich

About this list

Horror has always known where the bodies are buried, and lately they tend to belong to the rich — or to the poor who wait on them. As the gap has widened, the genre has turned its appetite toward the dinner party, the gated estate, and the penthouse, finding fresh terror in the people who own everything. This is a list for films where class resentment curdles into violence, whether the wealthy are hunting the poor for sport or the have-nots are finally turning on the table.
