The Wages of Sin / Final Girl Horror

About this list

The slasher runs on a brutal moral arithmetic: a masked killer, a group of friends, and a body count that takes the careless and the promiscuous before anyone else. What survives is the Final Girl — watchful, resourceful, the one left to turn and fight when the screaming stops. This is a list for the classic slasher, where transgression is punished and a single survivor outlasts the night.
