Problem Children
Community ListCurated by the horror codex · 25 films
Innocent in appearance, monstrous in nature.
About this list
If the traditional approach to horror is to design threatening characters to read as explicitly threatening—menacing monsters, blood chilling ghosts, slime dripping aliens—then the genre broke new ground by imbuing seemingly innocent children with the darkest of intentions. This is a list for films where children run amok, shocking the audience and terrorizing their families and communities.
