About this list
Sleep is the one surrender none of us can refuse, which makes it perfect prey. Horror weaponizes exhaustion, conjuring a predator that can only reach you in your dreams — so that staying awake becomes survival and closing your eyes becomes a death sentence. This is a list for films where sleep is lethal, and the only defense is to never let it take you.
