Agustín Jiménez was a pioneer cinematographer and photographer during the first half of the 20th century in Mexico. His images were published in mass circulation print media such as Excélsior, El Universal Ilustrado and Revista de revistas. In the mid-1930s he became involved with the nascent national film industry, first as a still photographer and then as a cinematographer, which he did until his death in 1974. His exact date of birth and death are unknown.
